Dean O'Hare, Chair

Dean O'Hare is a seasoned voice of the international business and insurance community. O'Hare retired as chairman and chief executive officer of The Chubb Corporation at the end of 2002, after having served 40 years with Chubb. He joined Chubb in 1963, was named an officer of the corporation in 1972, chief financial officer in 1981, president in 1986, and chairman and CEO in 1988. Additionally, O'Hare served as a member of the President's Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations and was a member of The Business Roundtable and the Global Business Dialogue on E-commerce. O'Hare is currently a director of Fluor Corporation and H.J. Heinz Company. He is chairman of the New Jersey Partnership and chairman of the United States Council for International Business (USCIB.) He served as a director of the American Insurance Association for 15 years and as chairman for 4 years. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, O'Hare graduated from New York University in 1963 with a B.S. in financial management, and in 1969 earned an M.B.A. from the Pace University Graduate School of Business Administration.



 

Eric Gewirtzman, Chief Executive Officer

Eric Gewirtzman, Chief Executive Officer, Eric Gewirtzman co-founded SeaPass Solutions in 2000 with Ari Katz. Prior to co-founding SeaPass, Gewirtzman was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. While at Shadow, Gewirtzman worked at various corporations as a computer consultant, specializing in implementing computer technology in a business environment. Gewirtzman served as a software engineer in the Israeli Air Force. He was head instructor of computer programming and utilization at the Israeli Air Force Academy and the Israeli Air Force Officer's Academy. He also developed real-time simulation software for the Air Force. Gewirtzman studied computer science and economics at Tel Aviv University, and has an engineering degree in aerodynamics and mechanical engineering from the Israeli Air Force Academy.



 

Ari Katz, President

Ari Katz, President, co-founded SeaPass Solutions in 2000 with Eric Gewirtzman. Prior to co-founding SeaPass, Katz was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. There Katz both created and led the team of technology innovators in bringing cutting edge technologies from other sectors into the Insurance marketplace. Katz previously served as an officer and software engineer in the R&D division of the Israeli Army Intelligence, specifically with experience in secure transaction and information relay systems. Katz received an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. with distinction in electronic engineering from the Technion, Israel's leading technological institute.



 

Sinai Zilber, COO

Sinai Zilber is a proven executive with more than 28 years of experience in the IT industry. He leads the SeaPass operations initiatives, including: R&D, product implementation, HR and customer support, and he helps drive market growth. Prior to joining SeaPass, Mr. Zilber served as VP of Operations for MaxBill and additionally held various positions at SPL WorldGroup, including VP Delivery EMEA and General Manager for SPL WorldGroup Israel. There he grew the practice from inception to $20M in Services revenue in 2002. As VP of SPL WorldGroup Israel, he spearheaded the establishment of the Services Division, and of the Projects and Consulting Division. Mr. Zilber holds a B.Sc. in Statistics and Computer Science from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
