Dean O'Hare

Dean O'Hare, Chair, is a seasoned voice of the international business and insurance community.O'Hare retired as chairman and chief executive officer of The Chubb Corporation at the end of 2002, after having served 40 years with Chubb. He joined Chubb in 1963, was named an officer of the corporation in 1972, chief financial officer in 1981, president in 1986, and chairman and CEO in 1988.Additionally, O'Hare served as a member of the President's Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations and was a member of The Business Roundtable and the Global Business Dialogue on E-commerce.O'Hare is currently a director of Fluor Corporation and H.J. Heinz Company. He is chairman of the New Jersey Partnership and chairman of the United States Council for International Business (USCIB.) He served as a director of the American Insurance Association for 15 years and as chairman for 4 years.Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, O'Hare graduated from New York University in 1963 with a B.S. in financial management, and in 1969 earned an M.B.A. from the Pace University Graduate School of Business Administration. 

Eric Gewirtzman

Eric Gewirtzman, Chief Executive Officer, Eric Gewirtzman co-founded SeaPass Solutions in 2000 with Ari Katz.  Prior to co-founding SeaPass, Gewirtzman was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. While at Shadow, Gewirtzman worked at various corporations as a computer consultant, specializing in implementing computer technology in a business environment.  Gewirtzman served as a software engineer in the Israeli Air Force. He was head instructor of computer programming and utilization at the Israeli Air Force Academy and the Israeli Air Force Officer's Academy. He also developed real-time simulation software for the Air Force.  Gewirtzman studied computer science and economics at Tel Aviv University, and has an engineering degree in aerodynamics and mechanical engineering from the Israeli Air force Academy.

Ari Katz

Ari Katz, President, co-founded SeaPass Solutions in 2000 with Eric Gewirtzman.  Prior to co-founding SeaPass, Katz was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. There Katz both created and led the team of technology innovators in bringing cutting edge technologies from other sectors into the Insurance marketplace. Katz previously served as an officer and software engineer in the R&D division of the Israeli Army Intelligence, specifically with experience in secure transaction and information relay systems. Katz received an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. with distinction in electronic engineering from the Technion, Israel's leading technological institute.

Adam Greene 

Adam Greene is the founder of Salisbury Ventures, LLC a consulting firm focused on M and A and strategic advisory. Adam has been in the investment banking and corporate finance world since beginning his career with Citicorp's investment bank in 1986 and later ran the telecom and media pratices for both ABN AMRO and Wachovia Banks. Adam's experience includes international assignments in Sydney, London and Singapore. Adam has, since 2002, been a Venture Partner with Dolphin Equity Partners in New York.

Ami Dotan

Ami Dotan, Director, has more than 28 years of extensive experience in developing communication systems and leading software and state-of-the-art technology entities. In 2000, Mr. Dotan co-founded Neurone Ventures II, which later became PNV (Platinum Neurone Ventures) a $105M, Israeli VC Fund. Prior to that, in 1997 he co-founded and was Partner of Neurone Ventures I. Neurone was one of the pioneer seed-investing firms in the venture capital industry in Israel. From 1980 to 1997, Mr. Dotan held various senior positions in Rafael, the largest R&D center in Israel, and a branch of the Ministry of Defense. From 1994 to 1997, he was Corporate Vice President at Rafael. In the last 10 years Mr. Dotan served as Chairman of three private companies and as a director for eight public and private companies. Mr. Dotan had a leading role in the IPO of CMT Medical, the acquisition of Xosoft by Computer Associates (CA) and the acquisition of Shellcase by Tessera. Mr. Dotan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, (1976) and an MBA from Long Island University (1979) in New York.

Robert Lichten

Robert M. Lichten has been Co-Chairman of Inter-Atlantic Group since 1994 and is a member of Inter-Atlantic Group’s investment committee. He also served as Co-Chairman of Guggenheim Securities LLC, Inter-Atlantic Group’s former NASD broker-dealer operation, until 2003. From 2007-2009, Mr. Lichten was also a Director of special purpose acquisition company Inter-Atlantic Financial, Inc. Previously, Mr. Lichten was Managing Director at both Smith Barney Inc. and Lehman Brothers Inc., where he concentrated on capital raising and providing merger and acquisition advisory services to financial institutions. Mr. Lichten was also formerly Executive Vice President of The Chase Manhattan Bank. During his 22 years at Chase he was a senior corporate banker and was in charge of worldwide capital planning. Mr. Lichten also served as Chief of Staff of the Asset-Liability Management Committee and President of The Chase Investment Bank. As President, he was responsible for all swap and derivative products, corporate finance, private placements, leasing, loan syndications and merger and acquisition activities. Mr. Lichten is a Director of Inter-Atlantic Group’s portfolio companies SeaPass Solutions, Inc., Accruit LLC, and GovernanceMetrics International, Inc. a corporate governance rating agency. In addition, he currently serves as a Director on the Board of Syncora Holdings Ltd. and its subsidiaries Syncora Guarantee Inc. and Syncora Capital Assurance. He is a former trustee of Manhattan College, a former Director of Annuity & Life Re (Holdings), Ltd. and a former Director and President of the Puerto Rico USA Foundation, a cooperative effort between the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and numerous multi-national corporations. Mr. Lichten holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College and an M.B.A. from New York University. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and received the Air Force Commendation Medal for his work in solid rocket propulsion systems.

 

Charles M. Luchs

Charles M. Luchs, Director, is an experienced authority in the international insurance community. Luchs dedicated 37 years of work to The Chubb Corporation, from 1965 until his retirement in 2002. He launched his career with Chubb in the company's Personal Insurance Division, was promoted to Personal Insurance Division Manager in 1979, Assistant Chief Underwriting Officer in 1988, and Co-Chief Underwriting Officer in 1994. In 1996, Luchs was named Chief Underwriting Officer of the corporation.Charles M. Luchs graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After his undergraduate studies, he served as a U.S. Army Corporal in Paris, France. Following his service abroad, he pursued graduate education at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Doug Alexander

Doug Alexander, Director. An original member of ICG's advisory board, Doug joined the company full-time in September 1997 as Managing Director, and was appointed President of ICG in January, 2009. Doug has had many roles at ICG including CEO of WiseWire Technologies, which was successfully sold to Lycos; Chairman of Verticalnet through its IPO; CEO of ICG Europe; and CEO of Traffic.com, which was later successfully sold to Navteq. In addition to these roles, Doug's primary focus at ICG has been to sponsor and oversee investments in several partner companies that have included Blackboard (Nasdaq: BBBB), Verticalnet (Nasdaq:VERT), eMerge Interactive (Nasdaq: EMRG), Arbinet-thexchange (Nasdaq: ARBX), WiseWire (acquired by Lycos), LinkShare (acquired by Rakuten), CreditTrade (merged with Creditex Group), Creditex (acquired by IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE)), StarCite, Traffic.com (acquired by Navteq), and Investor Force. Doug currently serves on the boards of Channel Intelligence, GovDelivery, Investor Force, SeaPass, StarCite, ICG Commerce, WhiteFence and ClickEquations, and is the co-Chairman of NFTE Philadelphia.

Vincent Menichelli

Vince Menichelli, Director, is a Managing Director at ICG and has been with the company since May 2000. Vince primarily focuses on overseeing ICG's investments, providing strategic, operational and financial guidance to ICG's partner companies and evaluating new acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining ICG, Vince spent nine years with Arthur Andersen LLP and Coopers & Lybrand LLP, most recently as a Senior Manager in the technology practice of Arthur Andersen LLP. In these roles, Vince provided management consulting services including financial analysis, market research, merger and acquisition transaction support, due diligence and business valuation as well as audit and accounting services across a broad range of industries. Yale Stark

Yale Stark, Director, Yale Stark is a General Partner of Hyperion and has been managing venture capital investments, leveraged buyouts and asset backed transactions with the Hyperion Group since 1991. The Hyperion Group was founded by Lewis Ranieri, former vice chairman of Salomon Brothers and father of the mortgage backed security market. In October 2000, Y ale founded Hyperion Israel, and he now serves on the board of several of its portfolio companies, including SeaPass, V-Secure, and Federation Web. Yale holds a BSc in Finance from Yeshiva University.
